A pizza staple gets reinvented to better connect with it's digital audience.

 

Cait Lepla teamed up with fellow UX/UI designers KyuRi Lee and Courtney McNeil to create an updated app design that would speak better to Domino's Pizza's youthful tech-savvy clientele, who want to order pizza fast and effortlessly.

User Persona

Creating a persona makes it easier to put ourselves in the shoes of the people we are designing for, and results in a more consistent voice for the end product.

Task Flow

A map of the information architecture (IA) in pages and links that a user passes through to achieve their goal. The easier it is for them to achieve their goal, the less likely they are to leave the site and go to a competitor.

Domino’s Beautiful Print Aesthetics

Inconsistent with Digital

Skeumorphic style reminiscent of UI from the 1990s. No longer intuitive to use and not very legible for accessibility.
